Mothering the mother you are + are becoming
Birth is a sacred rite of passage into motherhood. You should be seen, heard, honored, and respected in your birth space. Let’s connect and dream for that to happen, together.
Services
-
2-3 prenatal meetings where we grow a relationship, work through birth expectations, and develop a plan that fits you and your baby’s needs. During these meetings I learn more about your love languages, how you manage stress, and what you desire from me during your birth. We may practice birth positions, go on a walk, or share a coffee or tea together on your couch.
Unlimited text, phone, and voice message support during your pregnancy and postpartum to answer small questions and connect as you need. Whether you had a hard appointment or need someone to empathize with what may be hard, I am there for you each step of the way.
On-call support starting 38 weeks. No matter the day or time, you can call me. I do not leave town or your area until your baby has arrived.
Communication any time you need me and attending appointments as desired. No question or concern is off limits! I wanna know it all, girl.
I detail your birth story, from my point of view, as a gift to the new family. These stories honor you as the mother and your baby’s entrance into the world. It is for you. We discuss any important details of your story and I provide you with both a paper and digital copy. I do not share these stories without your permission. As a client you will also receive a discount if you choose to take my childbirth education course.
-
Whether or not I am a part of your birth experience, I offer you a one-hour session to share your birth experience or discuss preparation for your upcoming birth. During these sessions, we may discuss prior birth trauma, unpack hard parts of your conception journey, or go deep on your birth fears. As a believer in Jesus, I will always ask you if you’d like me to pray with you at the end, though this is not required. This can be done with or without your partner, and the purpose is to help you find healing, witness to your story, and peace in your body. These sessions are virtual. $200.
-
Holistic, evidence-based sessions that teach you how birth unfolds, labor positions, birth planning for in or out of the hospital, and how to hire the providers best suited to your needs. Virtual or in-person if local to Fort Worth. See “Birth Education” for more details.
More about me…
What Is A Doula?
A doula is a helper, a mother to mothers, a shepherd. She is physical and emotional support to mothers. She provides resources, helps work through questions prenatally, and sets the birth atmosphere. She is a feminine peacekeeper- encouraging your transformation each step of the way.
This is not a transactional relationship to settle on—Ideally, I want you to feel completely safe, warm, and relaxed in my presence -as you would with a friend- so that when I come to you in labor you feel comforted and the oxytocin keeps flowing. I will be your encourager, space-holder, and witness to your incredible strength and power during childbirth.
I take no issue ensuring that your voice is heard in the birth room, your rights are protected, and that you feel completely equipped to make the decisions you see best for yourself and your baby. This work is primarily done prenatally, so the sooner you book in your pregnancy the better, but I am comfortable taking mamas at any week of their pregnancy.
What Happens After I Submit An Inquiry?
I get back to all inquiries within 1-2 business days. Typically we set up a free consult on video (or in person) to get to know each other, for you to ask any questions, and get a pulse for what you’re looking for. Once you decide to begin working with me, you may let me know and I will confirm my availability for your guess date. If you’re ready to set up that free consultation, click here!
For low-risk mamas and babies, out-of-hospital care is an extremely viable and wonderful option that you get to learn all about. I deeply support women’s informed choice inside whatever birthing space they choose and feel safest (home, birth center, hospital). Ultimately you know exactly what is best for you and your baby. 🫶
I have supported mom’s birthing at home, in birth centers, and in hospitals. After experiencing a miscarriage in 2024, I learned the importance of sitting with women in their grief, walking them through child loss, and supporting her healing afterward. Please contact me here if you are seeking this kind of support. You don’t have to walk through this alone.
I believe birth is a woman-centered experience. Far too often mothers are brushed aside with only concern for the well-being of their baby, the “protocols” of hospitals, or the preferences of providers. Mother and baby are a dyad, meaning one cannot be separated from the other. The care of the mother is the care of the baby. Mama, you have a voice and it is of the utmost importance to me that you feel completely seen and heard throughout your experience.
I am a mentee of the Radically Brave Birth Doula Mentorship with Emily Stanwyck.
What’s the fuss with birth processing sessions?
My entrance into motherhood transformed me. The depth of love and sacrifice was startling. I needed help understanding this new identity in myself. I needed to be in the presence of other mothers, holding space for me and my story.
Booking a birth session with me means that you are ready for your story to be heard. I hold space for your experience and ask questions that help you in your process. These sessions are applicable for women in the preconception journey, pregnancy, or postpartum, no matter how many years it has been.
Your story is worthy of being heard. I look forward to listening.
My Background and Values
In 2021, I graduated with honors from St. Edward’s University with a BA in Writing and Rhetoric and an emphasis in poetry. Shortly after, my husband and I expanded our family and experienced the healing, joy-filled care of a home birth midwife in my area. From this experience, paired with my life-long respect and fascination for the female body, I knew I was being called into birth work. I believe, most of the time, birth unfolds best when least interfered with.
